Horse Life

My life for a horse

That's what I'd give.

Cause without the horse,

I just can't live.


I swear I'll do anything,

I won't complain.

I'll work as hard as it takes

Through snow, sleet, muck and rain!


Just grant my wish!

Please give me a horse!

I know it'll take everything.

All my money, my time, my life or course!


To be flying high above the ground,

A powerful friend to carry me through.

No worries will ever catch us,

Cause four legs are better than two.


This was my prayer many years ago.

I said it loud and clear!

Now there are eight horses to love,

I hold each one so dear.


They've caused me grief and fatigue

But mostly given me joy.

I've learned now, through all of it,

No horse is ever a toy!


Now, after I've given my all for them,

Through all the joy and strife.

I find my first prayer has come true,

I've given the horse my life.
